Choosing the right massage can feel confusing, especially if you’re new to treatment or unsure what your body needs. At Kenilworth Massage Therapy, we offer a range of options from deeply relaxing Swedish massage right through to targeted sports massage and everything in between. Each treatment has its own purpose, benefits, and feel, and we’re here to help you find the one that supports your wellbeing best.


Start With an Initial Consultation


For all new clients, we begin with an Initial Consultation & Treatment. This appointment is designed to give you the best possible start. During this session:


• We ask a series of routine health and lifestyle questions

• We discuss your reason for booking and any symptoms or concerns

• We explore what you want to achieve from treatment, relaxation, pain relief, improved mobility, recovery, or general wellbeing

• We talk through the different treatment types available and explain how each one works


This collaborative approach ensures you feel informed, comfortable, and confident about the treatment you receive.


Treatment Types We Offer


Swedish Massage


Perfect if you’re looking to unwind, reduce stress, or ease general tension. It’s gentle, flowing, and deeply relaxing.


Deep Tissue Massage


Ideal for stubborn knots, chronic tightness, or areas that need more focused pressure. Great for people who sit at desks, train regularly, or feel “stuck” in certain muscles.


Sports Massage


A more targeted, technique-driven treatment designed to support active individuals, aid recovery, improve mobility, and prevent injury. You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit.


Indian Head Massage


A calming treatment focusing on the head, neck, and shoulders—brilliant for headaches, stress, and mental overload.


Fire Cupping


A powerful option for releasing deep tension, improving circulation, and supporting recovery.


Why a Mix of Techniques Often Works Best


While each treatment type has its own benefits, one single style isn’t always the most effective on its own. Many clients find that a combination of techniques such as blending Swedish relaxation with deeper targeted work, or adding cupping to a sports massage creates far better results.

This is why most of our clients are happy to receive custom treatments. We will draw from multiple approaches to create a session that responds to your body’s needs on the day, rather than forcing you into a single category.
