Donna’s Journey: Therapist, Mum, and Grandmother (All Before 50!)
Donna’s path into massage therapy wasn’t a straight line, but it’s one shaped by resilience, curiosity, and a deep desire to help people feel better in their bodies. As a mum of two girls and now a grandmother before even turning 50, she brings a warmth and groundedness to her work that clients feel the moment they walk through the door. Her family is her anchor, her motivation, and her proudest achievement.
But don’t let the “Grandmother” title fool you Donna is anything but slowing down.
A Life Filled With Movement and Community
Donna thrives when she’s active, outdoors, and surrounded by people. Her hobbies aren’t just pastimes; they’re extensions of who she is.
• Rounders player and umpire, Donna loves the energy of team sport, the camaraderie, and the thrill of competition. Umpiring keeps her sharp, fair, and focused qualities that spill beautifully into her professional life.
• Netball enthusiast, Whether she’s on the court or cheering from the side lines, netball gives her that perfect mix of fitness and fun.
• Paddleboarder, When she’s not working or playing sport, you’ll often find her on the water. Sometimes it’s a peaceful paddle on local rivers, other times it’s a spontaneous trip to the coast for a dose of sea air and adventure.
These activities keep her strong, balanced, and connected and they’re a big part of why she understands the body so well. She knows what it feels like to push, to train, to recover, and to need a little extra care.
Donna’s clients often describe her as intuitive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. She brings together her professional training, her lived experience, and her natural empathy to create treatments that feel personal and purposeful.
Whether she’s helping someone recover from injury, unwind from stress, or simply carve out time for themselves, Donna’s goal is always the same, to help people feel better, move better, and live better.
And with a life as full and vibrant as hers, she’s the perfect example of what it means to stay active, stay curious, and stay connected at any age.
